“Stoneman goes Belgium” – after Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, the Stoneman, the top mountain bike challenge of former MTB world champion Roland Stauder, comes to the Eastern Cantons. “Stoneman Arduenna” is the new offer that will attract both performance-oriented mountain bikers and recreational athletes to the Eastern Cantons from 6 June 2020.

On a 176 km long tour through the Belgian Eifel-Ardennes with a total of around 3,250 altimeters the participants can decide for themselves whether they want to complete the Challenge in one go or in two or three stages.

The East Belgium Tourist Agency (TAO) is the official licensing partner for the Stoneman project, which is only organised once per country.
“We are pleased to have found a strong partner in the East Belgium Tourism Agency, which has already successfully carried out several projects of this size,” said Tilman Sobek of AbsolutGPS – Stoneman’s marketing agency – during the press conference in Eupen. Contacts with deputy director Dany Heck were already made three years ago.
